Hwedza Rural District Council is a Local Authority which falls under the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works. In conformity with the requirements of the Rural District Councils Act [Chapter 29:13], it is run under the leadership of democratically elected Councilors. This has been the case since the 7^th of April 1988
