We are responsible for the management of risk to support the achievement of corporate objectives, protect staff and
business assets and ensure financial sustainability.

Coordination of external audits

We are assisting in all external audits that is external audits by the auditors general office, ministry of local government as well as systems audit.

Production and implementation of audit budget

The budget is being produced annually and being implemented

Investigation of and reporting on all allegations

Investigation s are being conducted on allegations as well as tip offs received through suggestion box and reports are being produced

Monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of council resolutions

Review of council resolution has been done and acescents on implementations are being carried out to ascertain the extend of implementation and reports are being produced.
